It has been a very long time that I have been able to post anything on my blog. We have been swamped at our new shop! That is good and bad. We did get a few really great units, but, where to put everything?! A really interesting find was thousands of First Day Cover Stamps dating back to the 40's and on ward. We have so many we are selling them for just $1.00 each to move them. Comics, the same, just move them
out!Hundreds of TY Beanie Babies, all in their plastic tubes. Someone really loved to collect beanie babies. I was never into that myself, so I had no idea how many different babies there were. Princess Di,and baseball players,I mean everything under the sun can be a beanie baby. Who knew? Well, probably everyone else in the world, but me...
I went by myself to an auction, but didn't get one. I did bid, but some of them looked to be soooo much work and it was really hot! So, it was a bitter sweet. I walked away empty handed but, didn't need to sweat my buns off either.
The latest one we did get was super nice because everything was basically in bins. That was a gamble because we couldn't see anything, but it was a great find. All kinds of high end tools, Harley stuff, NFL jerseys, nice stereos, high end housewares, just something for every area of our shop... and of course everything was all neat and tidy! NO DUMP RUNS.....Yeah!!
I haven't been able to locate another smoke stand. I am kicking myself in the butt for selling the three that I had collected. But, I can't keep everything!! We are hoping to expand over into the next space, that way I can keep more things....lol
Our stray "shop cat" Hope, had kittens 9 weeks ago. We were able to find, the oldest boy, a good home, but now the kittens are taking over the backroom.... :} You can't just put up a Free Kitten sign because you never know who will be taking your babies. So, we just continue to work around them, and over them and next to them. Hope will be visiting the vet very soon!
Anyway, I am off to work again, I hope if you are in the area, or visiting Myrtle Beach, you stop bye and visit us and the cats!
Have a blessed day and keep on treasure hunting!!
